Best pork and red chile tamales in south Texas!!! Wish we could get the same ones in San Antonio.

Food was very good, had not been here if a few years went by topick upa few dozen tamales.

Who knew that such a great cake shop could also make amazing tamales!?!? If you're in Weslaco, it's definitely worth a stop

Great service and good tamales. Small bakery, but they also sell tamales. I didn't try any of the pan dulce so I can't comment on that.

You have to get here early if u want to get the bean/frijolillo tamales. Those tasty tamales sell out early. The chicken & cream cheese enchiladas are so Yummie. I also snag a couple of pumpkin empanadas. This pledge is a must.

Tasty food. Small shop behind the railroad tracks. The lady that cashed me out was nice. I'd go back again.

They have the best tamales n sweet bread! They are know for their cakes. They been in business for many years. Always busy .

This bakery has some of the best tamales in this area. Very good filling with pork, jalapenos, and chicken. The masa is very good and doesn't overwhelm the other ingredients. We have tamales every year when we are in south Texas. I haven't tried cakes or anything sweet so can't speak to those.

¡TAMALES! If you ever find yourself in the Rio Grande Valley, for whatever reason, this is the spot to get tamales. So when I visit family this is one of the stops that has to be made. These little wrapped treats are no easy task to make at home so when that is not in the plans we go here for our orders. They have a variety of tamales which included pork, chicken, beans, bean and cheese, chicken and cream cheese, and some spicy versions. I think in my last short trip home I stopped here 3 times in 4 days! I even picked up some on my last day to cram in carry-on. There are usually always some ready and warm for the taking in a cabinet, if they don't have what you want just ask. If it's the weekend and a holiday you might want to call ahead for your order or you could walk away disappointed that everyone beat you to the punch. This place is also a bakery, so there are cakes, pastries, tortillas, and soft drinks. They take credit cards and have parking on the side. The staff is always helpful. Cuando regreso al Valle aqui me voy a estar! oye sálvame uno
